hi there! it's time for the tenth (can you believe it?) edition of the nice email newsletter. this month i've got a recipe, a song recommendation and a photo of my cat

i've been making this dish for years - it's quick and easy meal for nights where i don't want to cook much, but it still feels a little special
gnocchi with cherry tomato sauce(serves 2)
1 package of gnocchi
olive oil
1 bunch (4 - 6) spring onions
4 cloves of garlic
1 punnet cherry tomatoes
salt and pepper, to taste
cheese, to serve
thinly slice the white part of the spring onions, mince the garlic and halve the cherry tomatoes
heat about two tablespoons of olive oil in a large frying pan over medium high heat, then add the spring onion and garlic
meanwhile, half fill a large saucepan with water and bring it to a boil
when the onion and garlic have softened, add the tomatoes and cook, stirring regularly, until the tomatoes have softened. turn the heat down to low and season to taste with salt and pepper
when the water is boiling, cook the gnocchi according to the directions on the package
when the gnocchi is cooked, add it to the pan with the tomato sauce and mix until all the gnocchi is coated with the sauce
serve topped with cheese
